Do you see that umbilical cord!? Daddy was a little
caught up in in the emotional moment with Mommy
so I got to cut it!!! I am such a good aunt! Look at how
cute that little crying face is!
Here he is the next day... nothing but precious! He is pure heaven in a blanket!
Chelsea is my hero! She did absolutely
amazing! She was admitted around 3pm
on Sunday and was dilated to a 5.
She had braved a day of contractions
on her own at home with Isaac.
She was so scared to get sent home so
she waited it out way longer than she
really had to. By 10pm she was fully
dilated & we were thinking he'd come
within an hour. Graham on the other
hand had other plans. FOUR, LONG,
HARD, EXHAUSTING hours later @
2:14pm Graham finally graced us with his
heavenly presence. If you've ever had
the amazing experience of watching a
baby enter this world, it is NOTHING
short of an amazing miracle. He had
a little cone-head as he was turned
wrong, and mom had been pushing
for FOUR hours! But I'm happy to
report... his head is perfect now!
There were lots or tears, and loud
crying lungs. But once they plopped
him up on mama's chest and she loving
reassured him, it was so special to see
the calm come over him, and see the
beautiful bond taking place. He stopped
crying and looked at his strong, tired
mommy in the most amazing way. You
could just see their mutual adoration
for each other and it filled the room thick!
I was so HONORED to be there and share
in that precious time. It was truly a glimpse
into heaven. I cannot describe it any
other way. AMAZING!
Mom and baby are doing wonderful.
Chelsea is a little beat up, but a
wonderful mother. Graham is so beautiful,
and they are looking for ward to getting
released tomorrow and having time to nest!
CONGRATULATIONS Chelsea, & Isaac!
Graham, I will be the best Auntie EVER!
Get ready for some fun!
