An obsession...

I have an odd obsession… I am in LOVE with a store here calledFresh & Easy! It is simply the best grocery store ever! If you have never taken a venture inside I HIGHLY recommend it! Your journey will start off with the arrival to a clean cute market with a nice lime green sign. Upon entering you immediately realize this is no ordinary grocery store. It is extremely organized & inventive in style. It’s half the size of an ordinary store & mostly offers products that are made only by “Fresh & Easy”. Everything by their brand is organic/natural, but they don’t kill you on the price like other whole/natural food places. While shopping I feel as if I am in theStepford Wives movie. The products are inexpensive, and a lot of product is packaged for two. I love it! I can buy a pre-packaged meal for like $4.98 & both Jared & I can split it. Very cost effective! (Almost every thing I buy is only $2, $3 or $4!!!) Everything is guaranteed ripe & fresh, and there really is a difference! They have a small kitchen in the back where they offer a quick sample of their amazing food. One try & I have instantly become addicted to their marinated roasted tomatoes, or pistachio gelato, or lemon cilantro hummus, or vinegar arugula on rye chips. It’s always amazing! Upon checking out, in a mostly self-check style (which I prefer) the friendly employees will always give you a stack of $5 off-20 or more coupons for the next week. 

Simply put, if you haven’t been in- you have to go!!

My rain dance...

So I decided to let you all know that I did a rain dance… it was called washing my car…. and it worked! I cannot be sad that we got rain, but I am sad that EVERYTIME I wash my car it rains in AZ. Sure I can take it somewhere and pay to have a nice wash / wax & it will be clean until the next time I take it in. BUT, if I myself get down to the nitty-gritty and wash (like I did on Thursday)… it rains!!!  So I am taking part of the blame/credit (whatever you will) for this weekends droplets from the sky.

Next time I decide to save a penny and wash it myself again- (which I’m not likely to do since my hard work goes to waste each time!!!!) I’ll give you forewarning. :)

A good laugh...

Ok- so I am not one of those people who like to dress up their pets… but standing in Target looking at these costumes I was laughing so hard at the thought of them on my dogs I could have peed (I’m sure you wanted to know that)!!! Seriously I must have looked like a crazy woman because I was alone – in Target- laughing out loud. So… I bought Bailey & Kahlua Halloween costumes this year. I have no clue how long they will actually last on halloween day, but it was WAY too good to resist. Here are some pictures of the dress rehearsal…

Poor pitiful Kahlua! She just sat there like “Mom, why must you subject me to this?!?”. It was so adorable! 

Insomnia???

OK- so I think I may have a sleeping disorder (sorry if my pic is scary- it’s how I feel with no sleep!)… It’s 1:40 right now, my husband has been peacefully sleeping for hours now, and I am really tired. However, my mind is absolutely on fire when I lay down. I cannot stop thinking about my day, my work, and my worries, how I feel physically tired but my brain won’t shut off!!!! I sleep really restlessly, and I dream about my patients & hospital emergencies that wake me up! I don’t know what to do?!? I realized that I think I have insomnia since this has been going on for a few weeks now. I don’t want to go to the doc because all they’ll do is put me on sleeping pills… anyone have any idea how I can unwind my crazy head and get the sleep I so badly need??? HELP!
